An old friend ( I did his wedding photography) took the mick out of me for saying 'Weddings are my favourite.'  That was some years back, but it's still true!

Weddings are my favourite!  I love the buzz, the different venues, the outfits and everyone's alway up for a good old party.

The real reason I love weddings is the people; as it's the people that make you wedding special.  A gathering of your nearest and dearest all in one place, who let's be honest, will never all gather again like they do on your wedding day.

Weddings are a time for celebration, emotion, a time to share feelings and to partttyyyy!  What's not to love?  Oh, and I'm there, in the middle of it all, 'working'!

I'm the chap that...

On your Wedding Day I always dress to blend in.  No polo shirts with 'Dan Dalton Photography & Film' written all over it, no shorts, no T-Shirts, nothing that makes me stand out as not being part of your wedding.  This is me at a wedding, in action directing the bride and groom.

I'd like to think of myself as more than just, 'that chap who takes photos!'  I'm the chap that will tell the venue that the bride has requested her flowers to her room.  I'm the chap that will run to go get Dad as he can't find the room where his daughter is.  I'm the chap that will help direct guests to the ceremony room, even the toilet (if they ask).  I'm the chap that will empathetically gee-up a nervous best man before his speech.

I'm there with you all day, and I bring two decades of wedding experience with me.  Helping make sure you have the best day of your life.  Oh, and I'll also create some awesome images and film too!  Don't forget to check your wedding date to see if I am available.

MY APPROACH & STYLE

Just me, my style & my personality...

On your wedding day my ultimate aim is to make you and your guests feel at ease.  Usually I do that by, well, just been me.  Friendly, chatty and relaxed.

Blending in and chatting to your guests makes them relax, and in turn they are less likely to hide when I point the camera in their direction.  Which makes for natural images and film!

This is my style; natural.  Documenting what happens on the day, the love, emotion, the tears, the party.  All captured in the way that it happened.
